This FREE program has been adapted from the National Health & Human Services Links Fit By 50 initiative that The Links, Incorporated National President, Dr. Glenda Newell Harris announced last summer: “As a physician, my life long passion has been to make individual and community health a key focus… we must not forget to be advocates for our personal healthcare,” Dr. Harris Newell wrote.

The goal of the Links Fit By 50 program, which stems from the HHS Walk For Healthy Living Signature Program, is to encourage women to workout together in the spirit of sisterhood and healthy living. No matter your age or fitness level, we invite you to come out to move with us at your own pace. We’ll move, we’ll laugh, we’ll talk nutrition and accountability. You’ll meet new friends and form new bonds, all in the name of health and wellness. It all begins with a single step and we’ve got some of the best trainers in the business from Trainers Total Fitness leading the way. We encourage you to wear comfortable workout clothing and gym shoes. Don’t forget to bring a bottle of water and wear your Fitbit if you have one.

Join us EVERY OTHER SATURDAY, March 26 – June 18 at Hope United Methodist Church in Southfield from 8:30am – 9:30am.
