Yvette Bing

Yvette Bing serves as a general member of the Renaissance (MI) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated.

Ms. Bing started and is now President and owner of H.T. and Associates, Incorporated, located in Southfield, MI. It is a commercial cleaning company which employs over 60 full time employees. The company services many local businesses; including local banks and mid-size companies in the Metropolitan Detroit Area.

Before starting H.T. and Associates, Incorporated, Ms. Bing worked with her husband as The Human Resource Manager for The Bing Group, in Detroit.

Ms. Bing is strongly committed to giving back to her community. She has been involved for many years in the adopt-a-student program at Cornerstone Schools and very much involved in many of the school’s fundraising efforts. Furthermore, Ms. Bing is very involved in other local charities, including, but not limited to Black United Fund of Michigan, P.O.H. Riley Foundation and The Girl Scouts of Michigan. She sits on several local Boards, including, Detroit Institute of Arts, Detroit Public Library Friends Foundation, Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History and is the Chair of The St. John Hospital Community Outreach Advisory Council. Ms. Bing is also an advocate for improving the literacy rate for the youth of Detroit and most recently became the spokesperson for the Detroit Public Schools Reading Corps; completing a series of public service announcements encouraging the community to become involved in such a worthwhile cause.

Ms. Bing is a native Detroiter and a graduate of MacKenzie High School. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Wayne State University.
